Staunton Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to preserving the art of live classical music. Individual gifts are critical to sustaining our mission. SMF can receive donations of cash, stock, and other assets. Consider becoming a concert sponsor or including the Festival in your estate plans. There are many opportunities to support SMF in non-monetary ways, including ushering, transporting or housing musicians, and administrative roles. How might you help?

Staunton Music Festival is a registered nonprofit corporation (tax ID 02-0464351) that was originally founded in 1994 under the name Tamworth Music Festival.  You may need that information if you are searching for our festival on one of various charity listings online.  In 1998 the additional "doing business as" designation of Staunton Music Festival was introduced when the organization settled in Staunton, Virginia.  Contributions are acceptable under either designation.  For those making a gift directly from their retirement account, family foundation, or brokerage account we suggest using the following information:
